Amphibians and Reptiles Checklist

The Herpetofauna Checklist contains 12 accepted names of amphibian and reptile species that are known to occur in Alaska.

It also includes 4 invalid names. Consult “About the Checklist” to read about our treatment of invalid names.

The “Given Name” field includes all names that have been applied or misapplied, while the “Current Name” field shows currently accepted taxa. The “Status” field shows the relationship between the current name and accepted name. The “Source” field contains links for the reference material for the current name.
